TENET Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 14, 2026

TENET is operated by Dong-Yeun Koh for the owner’s personal use. This policy covers the current Google account connection phase.

Access and purpose
TENET is operated by Dong-Yeun Koh for the owner's personal use. With the owner's separate approval, TENET may run a one-time Gmail briefing trial using read-only access. The trial reviews incoming and sent messages from a fixed 24-hour interval ending when the run starts, including archived mail but excluding drafts, spam and trash. It uses message metadata and body text to identify work follow-ups and decisions, and reports missing messages, unavailable bodies and incomplete analysis. Separate attachment files are not requested or analyzed; inline non-text parts are discarded. Slack, calendar data and other review periods are outside this trial.

Storage and control
OAuth credentials and tokens are stored in macOS Keychain on the owner's computer. During this trial, retrieved message metadata and bodies are held in process memory rather than written as raw messages, MIME or attachments to TENET's database, files or logs. Transient source data is discarded when the run ends. The resulting briefing, including selected work details and coverage information, is delivered to the owner's current chat and is subject to that chat service's retention policies. No recurring schedule is started. Revoking Google access stops future authorized access but does not delete Keychain entries or previously delivered briefings.

External processing
TENET screens messages locally for work relevance and minimizes the text submitted to the OpenAI API. It removes quoted history and boilerplate where feasible. Messages containing or suspected to contain credentials, authentication secrets or sensitive personal information, and messages that cannot be screened with sufficient confidence, are withheld from API processing and counted as incomplete analysis. Screening is a safeguard, not a guarantee that every sensitive detail can be detected. Selected work text may retain names and ordinary business context needed to understand the task. Headers, full MIME and attachments are not submitted. API requests use store: false, which does not guarantee zero provider retention; applicable OpenAI API data controls govern processing. The trial does not post to Slack, draft or send email, or enable alerts or schedules.

Google API data
TENET’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy and the Google Workspace API User Data and Developer Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google user data will not be used for advertising or to train general-purpose AI models.

Contact and deletion requests
For questions or requests to remove TENET’s locally stored account information, contact kohdongyeun@gmail.com. Deletion requires a separate action; disconnecting the account alone is not deletion.
